Processions For A Summer Day

by Tim Harrison

I was honoured to be asked by my son Noah and his beautiful partner Sophie to write some processional music for their August wedding. I wrote a piece for the bride, one for the entrance of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and a kind of fun dance in case a lighter sense was wanted as the bridesmaids and groomsmen came in, however, the more elegant (and dare I say tasteful) piece was used in the actual ceremony. Again, it was such a blessing to be part of the celebration.
