You never know when love will come. This time it was in the days of Covid and we were 4,400 Kilometers apart. I traveled to be with my love between the first and second waves of the virus....best thing that ever happened in my life.

I don’t go out for coffee
Not goin’ out to hear my friends
Stayin’ home and watchin’ movies
Some even right up to the end

One night I got a letter
From someone way out west
She asked me how’s it goin’
I said I’m doin’ my best

We wrote and told our stories
And we lost count of the days
Then called when we were ready
And we hung on to every phrase

Like nothing that would ever come to mind
But something that I surely recognized
As something I’d been always trying to find
