Inspired by pictures from my friend Mar's garden. Dedicated to all the gardeners I know. Took a long time for ths "summer" song to come along...finally, the four seasons!

The warm wind comes as the spring rain’s done
The earth turns over in the summer sun
Harrows and rakes and shovels and hoes
Turn mounds of the earth into clean straight rows

And she wipes her brow on bended knee
As she parts the earth to plant the seed
She stands to see if her line is true
And bends back down cause there’s work to do
